Seal your car like a professional: Instructions on how best to apply your sealant
Car professionals have been swearing by paint sealing for years. The products help to effectively protect the paint from dirt, weathering and UV radiation for months or even years - and are not even difficult or strenuous to use! So it's no wonder that paint care products have now won the hearts of many car fans.
HOW IS A PAINT SEALING DIFFERENT FROM WAX?
Basically, both paint sealants and car wax ensure that the car's paint is protected from environmental influences and UV radiation, meaning it looks as new and shines for longer as it did on the first day. The differences, however, lie in how long the protection lasts and how much effort it takes to apply it. The wax often loses out here. It forms a significantly thicker film on the paint and can therefore be removed more easily. The protection only lasts a few washes. In comparison, ceramic sealants can still reliably protect the paintwork even after several washes. The wax also has to admit defeat when used. A sealant can often be applied to the vehicle with less effort and force. The wax only wins when it comes to price: it is usually cheaper.
What is paint sealant and why should you seal your car?
Roughly outlined, the sealant forms a protective layer on the paint. With a nano sealing, this layer is particularly thin - a ceramic seal actually "melts" into the paint. The film created in this way offers the car's paintwork reliable protection against all possible environmental influences: dirt cannot accumulate in scratches and pores, rain rolls off and the paint layer can even shed stone chips better.

The important thing about a sealant is how you apply it. This is crucial for how long it lasts on your car.
This is how you apply the sealant optimally:
• Pre-clean the car thoroughly, either by hand washing or using a car wash. Isopropanol as a finish degreases and activates the paint!
• Shake bottle well before use.
• Process component by component, do not spray the entire car at once
• Spray the sealant onto the clean and dry surface and wipe evenly over the sprayed area with a clean microfiber cloth.
• Immediately polish the surface with a second clean microfiber cloth until the residue has completely evaporated.
• For a long-lasting seal, do not subject it to mechanical stress for a few days.
